Nestled along the scenic shoreline of Southeastern Connecticut, New London County Rugby has built a proud tradition of hard-hitting rugby and community spirit. Since our founding in 2003, we’ve competed throughout New England as a member of the New England Rugby Football Union (NERFU), earning respect across the region for our tenacity and sportsmanship on and off the pitch.
With a rich history that includes a national playoff run in 2008, NLC RFC continues to push the standard higher with each season. Our most recent milestone came in Fall 2024, when we powered through the conference season with a perfect 10-0 record—an achievement that sets the stage for our Spring Super Regional campaign.

We compete in Division 4 of the New England Rugby Football Union (NERFU), with matches officiated by the New England Rugby Referees Society (NERRS). Our league operates under the oversight of USA Rugby and World Rugby.
