Time Line

2003 Club Founded

Founded in 2003, NLC RFC brought rugby to the community for the first time since the historic Thames River Rugby Club.

2008 NERFu Cup Champions

The NERFU New England Rugby Cup offers best rugby New England has to offer. The largest 15's tournament , has teams compete over two days throughout their division.

2011 Regional Champions

With a strong push in season play, NLC conquered their divisional opponents throughout New England. Joining the race for a nation title for the first time.

2011 NERFu Cup Champions

After a strong season & post season campaign, NLC captured their second Cup at Fort Adams.

2013 NERFu Cup Champions

With the season cut short, NLC made the most of the spring winning their third Cup.

2013 Nonprofit 501(c)3

NLC RFC has held a nonprofit 501(c)3 status for for the past 6 years. This classifications within our state & union helps us operate & impact other local organizations.

2015 First Hall of Famer Player

Honoring individuals whom played essential roles in the club legacy, inducted their first Hall of Famer.

2019 Community Award

Supporting CT Special Olympics in their Polar Plunge Fundraiser, NLC was awarded spirit award for their efforts. Also awarded in "16", "17", &"18."
